Duties
- Administer vaccines to infants, pediatrics and adults.
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately.
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to monitor patient health status.
- Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort.
- Support in administering medications and injections following proper protocols and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment such as X-ray machines or other imaging tools used in outpatient or inpatient settings.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently to document patient information, treatment plans, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and other medical documentation clearly and accurately.
- Assist with laboratory procedures, specimen collection, and processing to support diagnostic testing.
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit.
Experience
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks EHR system and proficiency in medical terminology is essential for accurate documentation.
- Prior involvement in procedures requiring medication administration or X-ray operation is advantageous.
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
