What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Assistant Laurels Edge position at Monarch Healthcare Management?
Position Summary
The PCA performs the same duties as the CNA in the Assisted Living Communities with exception of having the ability to assist tenants to take medication that is set up in their apartment and give scheduled and PRN medication under direction of the RN. According to the Plan of Care for the tenant, PCAs apply skills in basic nursing, personal care and basic restorative services while understanding the mental health and social service needs of the tenant and being mindful of the needs in cognitively impaired tenants.

- High emotional intelligence (EQ).
- Experience in the healthcare industry; experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred
