Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures at the front desk.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar effectively.
- Handle incoming calls, addressing patient inquiries and directing them to appropriate staff as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation review in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Utilize AthenaHealth EMR
- Collaborate with medical professionals to facilitate seamless patient care and communication within the clinic.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Athena is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation review and record management.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact clearly with patients and staff.
