Duties
- Greet patients warmly at the front desk, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly with excellent phone etiquette
- Schedule appointments efficiently using medical office management software and coordinate patient intake processes
- Manage patient documentation review, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards
- Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers regarding care plans and follow-up instructions
- Handle appointment rescheduling, cancellations, and reminders efficiently to optimize clinic flow
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area while managing multi-line phone systems and office equipment
Requirements
- Proven experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment with emphasis on Customer Service.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security at all times
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide an outstanding patient experience
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and health information management software
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and clerical tasks
- Ability to handle high-volume phone calls while maintaining professionalism and courtesy
- Office experience involving front desk duties, medical scheduling, insurance processing or administrative support preferred
