Responsibilities

• Operate dry cleaning machines, pressing equipment, and garment finishing tools to ensure optimal cleaning and presentation of garments
• Identify stains and spots on clothing items; apply appropriate spotting techniques using specialized cleaning detergents and methods
• Handle heavy lifting of laundry loads and garments safely, adhering to manual handling procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly cleaning equipment, work surfaces, and surrounding areas
• Ensure proper garment care by following fabric care knowledge guidelines and operating garment care machines efficiently
• Assist with laundry services including sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding garments with attention to detail

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel or hospitality laundry or dry cleaning environments is highly preferred
• Knowledge of garment finishing, pressing machines, and fabric care techniques
• Familiarity with dry cleaning processes, laundry operations, and the use of cleaning detergents
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Strong commitment to maintaining a clean workspace and adhering to safety standards

Pay: $600.00 - $800.00 per week
