Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Team Balance Beam Coach to work with our competitive girl's gymnastics team. This role focuses on technical beam development, safe progressions, and fostering confidence and consistency in athletes.
Responsibilities:
- Coach balance beam for competitive team gymnasts at assigned levels
- Develop and implement effective beam drills and progressions
- Ensure a safe training environment and proper skill technique
- Provide constructive, positive feedback to athletes
- Collaborate with other team coaches and create/choreograph beam routines for competition
- Support athletes’ physical and mental development in a positive manner
Qualifications:
- Prior experience coaching competitive gymnastics (beam-specific experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of beam technique, progressions, and safety standards
- Ability to work well with athletes, parents, and fellow staff
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Schedule & Compensation:
- Evening and/or weekend availability required
- Pay is competitive and based on experience
