Responsibilities
- Manage incoming customer inquiries related to pricing, lead times, expediting, literature, and technical data sheets
- Process customer orders and quotation requests through the ERP system
- Create and maintain customer quotations
- Process and expedite customer orders and verify confirmations
- Fulfill requests for product literature, samples, and technical documentation
- Communicate opportunities to the outside sales team
- Create purchase orders for drop shipments, rush orders, and special orders through vendor websites
- Maintain filing, documentation, and database records
- Assist in resolving AR/AP discrepancies
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Customer service experience with a positive and solutions-oriented mindset
- Prior experience with the Prophet 21 ERP system preferred
