What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at Monamie Coffee?
We are looking for experienced full-time & part-time, customer centric barista's to join our passionate team. Our flagship location in Nolensville will open later this year. An experienced barista will help us set standards for front of house operations, help craft our selection of drink offerings both regular and seasonal and help build training programs to assist with the ramp up of other team members in addition to delivering top notch beverages to our patrons with a smile!
Front of house experience is a must, coupled with a great attitude, the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and an ability to deal with high stress situations during our busy times. We are looking for team players who don’t mind rolling up their sleeves and being part of the launch of a new concept which may require them to assist with other duties.
We realize the importance of having a talented team to deliver the experience we would like and so experienced barista's will serve as the backbone to the operation. This position brings with it opportunities for growth across future locations and management opportunities.
Hours of operation are from 6.30am to 4.00pm (it’s highly recommended that you are a morning person for this role). We have full-time and part-time opportunities available.
Duties
- Prepare and serve an assortment of beverages including coffee, latte, teas with an industrial espresso machine.
- Ensure the guest environment is clean and aesthetically pleasing at all times.
- Prepare any food items that require warming.
- Customer focused response to guest requests in a timely manner.
- Work our POS system, handle cash transactions.
- Follow all company policies and procedures with regards to safety and hygiene.
- Ensure a positive customer experience for all of our guests.
- Replenish inventory and stock in the front of house when required.
Experience
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Prior experience as a barista required (1 year Preferred)
