MRAPP is recruiting Afterschool Youth Leaders for five Keene-area sites operated by the Keene Family YMCA. This is a flexible, paid part-time job that can also be used as an internship or practicum, depending on your school’s requirements. You do not need to be a college student or complete an internship to apply.
What you’ll do
- Lead or assist with games, clubs, enrichment activities, and creative projects
- Support students during snack, homework, free play, and transitions
- Build positive, supportive relationships with school-age children
- Help create a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Work with site staff to support daily program routines and safety
What we’re looking for
- At least 16 years old
- Available between 2:00 and 5:30 p.m. for at least two weekdays
- Dependable, encouraging, and comfortable working with children
- Able to communicate and work well as part of a team
- Prior experience with children is helpful but not required
What you’ll receive
- $14–$16 per hour, based on experience and education
