MRAPP is recruiting Afterschool Youth Leaders at Project Beyond the Bell in Swanzey. With about 80 middle school students, they are looking to add members to their team. This is a flexible, paid part-time job that can also be used as an internship or practicum, depending on your school’s requirements. You do not need to be a college student or complete an internship to apply.
What you’ll do
- Lead or assist with games, clubs, enrichment activities, and creative projects
- Support grades 6-8 students afterschool with academics, social emotional issues, and creative projects and ideas
- Build positive, supportive relationships with young people
- Help create a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Work with site staff to support daily program routines and safety
What we’re looking for
- At least 15.5 years old
- Available between 2:00 and 5:30 p.m. for at least 2-3 weekdays
- Dependable, encouraging, and comfortable working with children ages 11-14
- Able to communicate and work well as part of a team
- Prior experience with children is helpful but not required
What you’ll receive
