Monadnock Developmental Services seek compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in leading meaningful, inclusive lives within their communities. Positions are available for both full-time and part-time schedules, including afternoon and weekend hours. Paid Training is provided in all program areas to ensure success in this rewarding role.
Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on support with daily living activities, healthy meal planning and preparation, household tasks, and active community engagement. Transport individuals to appointments, errands, and programs while encouraging independence and personal growth. Maintain accurate records of activities, progress, and behaviors, and use positive behavior strategies to manage challenges effectively.
Qualifications:
Applicants should demonstrate integrity, compassion, creativity, teamwork, and a sense of humor. Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to make a difference are essential. Flexible weekday and weekend schedules are available. Must be 18 and older to apply.
