We are looking for an intentional, goal-oriented DSP to partner with an active, creative 22-year-old male as he works toward major adulthood milestones. This is not just a caregiving role; it is a mentorship position focused on building real-world independence, planning purposeful activities, and expanding community connections.
This individual enjoys:
- Drawingcooking
- Building miniature cranes
- Collecting Matchbox cars
- YMCA, swimming, movies,bumper cars
To help him build an independent life, you will assist with:
- Goals: Planning intentional, purposeful community activities
- Independence: Prepping for his own apartment and finding a job
- Connections: Introducing him to new opportunities and friendships
- Communication: Non-verbal support
- Boundaries: Prefers limited physical touch and lots of personal space
- Reliable vehicle
