Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Full time closing drivers can earn a higher hourly wage.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload products efficiently, ensuring items are secured for transport.
- Navigate assigned routes effectively while maintaining punctuality for deliveries.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays encountered during delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and receipts as required.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with 2 yrs driving record.
- Must use your own vehicle and maintain insurance on that vehicle.
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing delivery schedules.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members effectively.
