We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our PRN team, providing weekend support to our residents.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and occupational therapy interventions under the direction of a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR)
• Assist residents with essential activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional mobility
• Safely execute and assist with patient transfers and positioning
• Deliver impactful education and training to facility staff, family members, and caregivers to ensure continuity of care
• Accurately document resident progress and treatments in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current, unrestricted COTA license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care setting preferred
• Strong communication skills for effective staff and family education
• Ability to safely perform patient transfers and physical components of the role
