Patient Access Manager -- REGISTRATION -- Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital

Job Summary

This position reports to the Patient Access Director and is responsible for managing, monitoring, and driving improvement in front end Revenue Cycle functions including, but not limited to: Manages Patient Access Services Registration, monitors registration workflow compliance and performing quality audits, manages ongoing analysis, development, quality improvement and implementation of methods and system to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Project Management Provides project management/change management leadership and support as requested by Director, Patient Access. Understanding Roles and Responsibilities Manages all tasks associated with monitoring Patient Access Services core missions-processes patient efficiently and effectively. Training and Development Works with other sections within Patient Access, and with clinic areas impacted by operations to understand needs and help create acceptable service level agreements. Quality/Accuracy Make financially responsible decisions for assigned areas of responsibility in purchasing and operation needs. Oversees and Manages Staff Responsible for staff management and development.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Light Work: Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 lbs. with a maximum lifting of 25 lbs. 2-3 years of progressively responsible Healthcare Information and patient access services experience or higher level of education completed.

• Bachelor's Degree
• Associate's Degree
• High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Credentials

• National Association of Healthcare Access Management (Preferred)
