JOB SUMMARY

With a patient-centered culture, the Licensed Practical Nurse will -as directed by the RN and defined in the state's Scope of Practice- provide direct patient care, meeting the physical, age-specific, social, mental status, cultural and spiritual needs of the patients in accordance department guidelines.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Education

Incumbent must be a graduate from a school of nursing.

Licensure and Certifications

Current West Virginia license, which is renewed on a yearly basis.

Must possess BLS certification within probationary period.
