Your Impact :
The primary goal of the technical writer is to convey written information to team members in a way that they can understand and apply the information, even if they have no prior knowledge of the subject. The technical writer will be responsible for preparing instruction manuals, how-to guides, and other supporting documents, including SOPs and training materials.

- Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions
- Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure, and form documentation
- Develop and maintain a detailed database of reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications
- Evaluate current content and develop innovative methods of improvement
- Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements
- Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write standard operating procedure (SOP) manuals, technical specifications, process documentation, trainings and presentations.
- Work with development and support leads to identify documentation repositories, revise, edit, and determine best solutions for data compilation and centralized storage
- Create scripts for video tutorials and for customer service team
- Manage and maintain Knowledge Database (GetGuru)
- Write newsletters, blogs, and other content for company externally facing website
- Maintain content on company intranet website
- Two years experience as an effective technical writer
- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter
- Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences
- Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience working in PDF editor, PowerPoint / Canva, and Google Suite
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelors degree in English, journalism, communications, or relevant field
- Advanced level skills in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- A writing portfolio is a plus.
- Experience with Knowledge Databases (ex. GetGuru) is a plus. Benefits :
