Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Baker who is as excited about dough as we are—especially if you know your way around laminated dough (think: croissants, kouign-amann, danishes – yum!). Our café specializes in Argentinian & European pastries and takes pride in serving top-quality coffee made with locally roasted beans.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, breads, and other baked goods from scratch
- Work with precision and care to maintain consistent quality and taste
- Assist in shaping, folding, and creating beautiful laminated dough products
- Monitor inventory, prep ingredients, and keep work areas clean and organized
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet daily production needs and special orders
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
What We're Looking For:
- Prior baking experience in a commercial kitchen or bakery
- Familiarity with baking equipment and kitchen safety procedures
- Experience with laminated dough is a big plus
- Strong attention to detail and a love for creating beautiful, delicious baked goods
- Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to learn
- Early riser and weekend availability
