Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and specialty drinks with precision and consistency.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries professionally.
- Manage cash register operations, including cash handling, sales transactions, and basic math calculations.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and dining spaces.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including serving light snacks or baked goods.
- Ensure timely order fulfillment through effective time management and multitasking skills.
- Uphold food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
