We are currently seeking a caring, patient, and dependable Child Care Worker to join our team. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
Position Summary
As a Child Care Worker, you will support classroom teachers in creating a positive learning environment while ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of each child. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and enjoy working in a collaborative, supportive setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate lessons and activities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Follow daily sanitation and cleaning procedures to ensure a healthy space
- Supervise and engage children during indoor and outdoor activities
- Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Communicate effectively with teachers and parents
- Assist with emergency communication when needed
- Prepare and serve meals and supervise children during mealtimes
- Ensure compliance with safety, licensing, and health regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–2 years of childcare or related experience preferred
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Caring, patient, and compassionate personality
- Willingness to obtain certification and enroll with The Registry
