Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Videographer/Editor to join our dynamic media team. This role involves capturing high-quality video footage, organizing set-up, editing content for various platforms (Instagram, YouTube, etc.), and collaborating to produce engaging visual stories that align with our brand vision. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, proficiency in video production tools, and a passion for storytelling through visual media. Responsibilities
- Film and record high-quality video footage using professional equipment, ensuring proper framing, lighting, and audio quality.
- Edit raw footage into polished videos using industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro or similar.
- Ability to Incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, and animations using Adobe After Effects or similar tools to enhance video content.
- Manage post-production tasks including color correction, sound editing, and adding music or voiceovers to create compelling final products.
- Collaborate with the creative team to produce and direct/guide imageTy that correlates with Mommy Appetit concepts, storyboards, and scripts for video projects.
- Maintain organized digital files of footage and edited content for easy access and future use, using a shared drive or location.
- Stay updated on current trends in videography and editing techniques to continually improve the quality of productions.
- Coordinate photography shoots when needed, utilizing skills in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop to enhance images or similar.
Skills
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects.
- Strong knowledge of videography techniques including filming, lighting, and sound recording.
- Experience with post-production processes including color correction, motion graphics, and visual effects.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, and After Effects.
- Ability to create engaging content tailored for various platforms like social media, websites, and presentations.
- Excellent storytelling skills through visual media combined with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with clear deadlines.
