What are the responsibilities and job description for the Servers position at Momiji Redmond?
We are a family of busy, friendly, and well-established sushi restaurants spread throughout the Seattle area, and now Redmond.
We are looking for kind, energetic, and motivated individuals to join our team.
We are hiring servers looking for 3-4 days a week.
The ideal candidates will:
maintain a friendly and professional demeanor.
ability to multi-task under high pressure situations
ability to perform tasks promptly and efficiently
enthusiasm for learning, improving, and growing
dedication to professional and friendly service and developing a loyal clientele
1-2 years (or more) of Japanese restaurant experience is a plus!
Up-to-date Food Handler's Card and liquor serving MAST permits are a must
Availability 3-5 days a week
warm, friendly, and professional demeanor and attire
capability to multi-task and stay organized and professional under pressure
excel in interpersonal and effective communication with customers and team-members
attentiveness to details ensuring that all guests receive their appropriate order, modifications, and service
knowledge of Japanese whisky, sake, wine, and spirits is a plus
Servers walk with their tips at the end of the night. Tip-out structure is based upon sales: % of food sales to kitchen, % of alcohol sales to bar, ect.
Employees receive 50% off food on work days, and 25% off food at all of our restaurants on days off. Paychecks are every two weeks.
