At KURU, we're looking for a KURU GURU who can deliver a world-class, anticipatory customer experience through phone, email, social media, and chat. You'll help customers find solutions, answer product questions, assist with orders, and make sure every interaction is handled with professionalism and care.
Location: Remote
What You'll Do
- Promptly assess customer needs and proactively provide solutions
- Become an expert on KURU products and guide customers in making purchasing decisions
- Provide customer support through phone, email, social media, and chat
- Meet or exceed scorecard requirements for productivity, schedule adherence, quality, and attendance
- Place customer orders online
- Submit requests for returns and exchanges
- File warranty claims
- Answer general product questions and make style suggestions when appropriate
- Handle social media correspondence
- Assist customers with shipments, order adjustments, address changes, and other needs
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service role, such as a call center, consumer-facing company, or retail environment, or a combination of education, experience, and training that provides the necessary skills and abilities
- Demonstrated sales technique and product knowledge preferred
- Courteous with a strong customer service orientation
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Strong multitasking skills with the flexibility to adapt quickly to change
- Strong computer navigation skills and PC knowledge
- Dependable with strong attention to detail
- Patience and the ability to maintain a pleasant, professional tone in all customer interactions
- Ability to maintain consistent attendance
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
