Job Overview:
Momentum Truck Group, Central Minnesota's Freightliner & Western Star Dealership offering Parts, Service, Sales and Collision Center repair since 1963 is looking for a 1st shift Industrial Painter.
Job Summary:
Prepare and paint customer supplied panels, using Axalta OEM paint materials sprayed through pressure pot paint equipment to established customer quality standards.
Essential duties and Responsibilities:
- Sand and buff panels as needed
- Follow proper paint preparation practices to ensure proper adhesion for warranty consideration
- Inspect products to be painted prior to the refinish process
- Prep panels prior to painting
- Apply paint finishes following company quality standards
- Maintain spray equipment according to company standards
- Perform final inspection prior to customer delivery to ensure high quality paint finish
- Maintain a clean work environment at all times
- Follow all safety guidelines and practices and wear proper PPE at all times
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Previous experience as an industrial painter is preferred. Experience with a pressure pot paint sprayer is helpful. Must be willing to work as a team player in a fast-paced work environment, with ability to read, comprehend instructions, take direction and complete tasks as assigned.
