Cutting Associate/Order Filler

Momentum Textiles & Wallcovering is seeking 2 full time Cutting Associate/Order Fillers in Greensboro, NC. The schedule is Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm.

Position Purpose:

The Cutting Associate/Order Filler plays a vital role in delivering accurate, on-time orders to our customers. This position is responsible for selecting the correct fabric rolls, precisely measuring and cutting required yardage, inspecting materials for quality, and preparing orders for shipment. Working at the intersection of hands-on production and system-driven processes, this role ensures inventory accuracy and supports efficient warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, precision in measurement and data entry, and the ability to meet daily shipping deadlines. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, quality-focused, and thrives in a team-oriented setting.

Essential Functions and Key Activities:

• Cut rolls of upholstery fabric and wallcovering using a Measuregraph table, with a focus on accurate measurements
• Inspect each cut for flaws or defects and verify order accuracy before packing
• Attaching system labels for both customer product and return to shelf inventory
• Pack orders securely using appropriate materials (boxes, bags, bubble wrap, foam, shrink wrap, etc.) to prevent damage during transit
• Build and stage pallets or carts for orders
• Move completed orders to the shipping area or loading dock using pallet jacks, carts, or other material handling equipment
• Follow established procedures for returning inventory to the warehouse, including accurate measurements, labeling, and sorting requirements
• Maintain assigned work areas, cutting stations, and warehouse locations in a clean, organized manner
• Actively participate in annual physical inventory counts
• Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets while working efficiently in a team environment
• Observe and follow all warehouse safety practices, company policies, and quality improvement initiatives
• The hourly pay is $17.00, determined by experience and qualifications, with eligibility for overtime

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• One to three years warehouse experience required
• Basic mathematical skills and the ability to interpret basic measurements required
• Previous experience with (WMS), warehouse management system or scanners is a plus
• Live in Greensboro, NC or surrounding areas

The position is located indoors in a climate-controlled warehouse environment.
