Shop Mechanic

Momentum Rental and Sales is hiring immediately for a Shop Mechanic.

Shop Mechanic Overview:

• The Shop Mechanic will perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of construction and industrial equipment.

Shop Mechanic Requirements & Qualifications:

• Valid Drivers License with acceptable record.
• High School Diploma or GED. Training in a vocational school and/or on-the-job experience.
• Experience: Highly developed mechanical background with various construction or heavy equipment machinery experience. Specifically, in repairing hydraulics, electric systems, and diesel engines.
• Must provide own tools

Shop Mechanic Responsibilities & Daily Duties:

• Must be able to perform a variety of skilled duties which involve inspection, diagnosis, troubleshoot, maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs on general rental and/or high reach equipment.
• Service equipment as required to ensure proper operating conditions.
• Must be able to operate equipment such as booms, forklifts, compressors, generators, hydraulic/electrical tools, and related tools.
• Complete all required documentation, timesheets, checklist, and repair order longs in a timely manner.
• Conduct preventative maintenance as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
