Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Installer/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation of fencing, building materials, and various outdoor structures while adhering to safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on skills in construction, carpentry, and site preparation, contributing directly to successful fence construction projects and landscape enhancements. Duties
- Assist with the installation of fences, including setting posts, attaching panels, and ensuring proper alignment according to construction plans
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, assemble, and install building materials such as wood, metal, and masonry components
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately execute construction tasks
- Handle construction materials with care, ensuring proper storage and transportation on-site
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for site setup, material movement, and assembly
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members
- Support landscape maintenance or hardscape projects by preparing sites, installing concrete forms, or assisting with masonry work
Requirements
- Prior experience in construction or related outdoor work environments is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques, frame carpentry, masonry, or welding is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety procedures related to their use
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and outdoor labor in various weather conditions
- Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and quality workmanship
- Excellent teamwork skills with a customer service-oriented mindset when interacting with clients or team members
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for site access or material transportation
