Position : Locum MD / DO Family Practice
Location : Tacoma, Washington
Key Responsibilities :
Provide general medical care for patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Conduct physical exams, diagnose conditions, and provide preventive care and treatment.
Manage chronic diseases, including hypertension, diabetes, and asthma, with a focus on patient education.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and recommend lifestyle changes.
Work in both outpatient and inpatient settings (if applicable).
Collaborate with a team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.
Document patient care accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Maintain high standards of care and patient safety, adhering to facility protocols.
Qualifications :
MD / DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Family Medicine.
Active Washington state medical license or ability to obtain one.
Strong clinical skills with the ability to treat a wide variety of conditions.
Experience in a Family Medicine setting preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients of all ages.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
