Job Overview:
We are hiring an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our Project Management team in the execution of complex luxury residential projects.
This is not an entry-level administrative role.
The right candidate will have prior construction experience (commercial or residential), understand how projects flow from pre-construction through closeout, and be comfortable working within construction documents and project management systems.
You will support documentation control, procurement coordination, cost tracking, and meeting preparation — while learning to operate at a higher level of project leadership over time.
This role is primarily in-office with regular job site interaction.
Core Responsibilities:
- Project Documentation & Controls
- Manage RFIs, submittals, and drawing logs
- Track revisions and maintain organized document control
- Support scope review and identify potential conflicts
- Maintain accurate and defensible project records
- Procurement & Coordination
- Assist with material buyouts and order tracking
- Monitor procurement timelines to help prevent delays
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors on documentation
- Financial & Cost Support
- Assist with cost coding and invoice tracking
- Support monthly billing preparation
- Track change events and maintain organized financial logs
- Meeting & Communication Support
- Prepare and distribute OAC meeting notes
- Assist with client and subcontractor communications
- Support schedule updates and reporting
Required Experience:
- 3 years in construction (commercial or high-end residential preferred)
- Experience supporting a Project Manager or working as an APM/Project Engineer
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Familiarity with Procore or similar construction management software
- Understanding of procurement flow and change order processes
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Field experience is preferred but not required.
