This Warranty is responsible for processing warranty claims, ensuring proper documentation, and reconciling payments with accuracy. The ideal candidate has dealership experience, with prior warranty processing knowledge preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Process warranty claims efficiently for all franchises or distributors.
- Ensure all warranty paperwork is complete and accurate.
- Verify claims meet factory or distributor criteria.
- Reconcile warranty receivables with payments according to accounting schedules.
- Post credits and update records in dealership software.
- Follow up on rejected claims and resubmit or process write-offs as authorized.
- Track and manage warranty parts, including tagging and proper disposal or return.
- Stay up to date on factory recalls, service bulletins, and warranty policies.
- Assist service, body shop, cashier, or administrative teams as needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and organized work area.
- Must have prior warranty processing experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic accounting or reconciliation experience.
- Proficiency with computers and dealership management software.
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.
- Familiarity with multiple automotive brands and factory warranty procedures.
- Experience assisting multiple departments in a dealership setting.
- $24-$28 / hour
