The Rental Clerk is responsible for assisting with the dealership's fleet of loaner vehicles which are provided to customers while their own vehicles are being serviced.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensuring vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for customer use.
- Handle the check-in and check-out process for loaner vehicles, which includes explaining the terms of use, documenting customer information, and providing vehicle keys.
- Coordinate with the service department to provide customers with loaner vehicles during their service appointments.
- Maintain accurate records of loaner vehicle agreements, including customer details, vehicle assignment, mileage, and condition reports.
- Inspect vehicles before and after use, documenting any damages or issues.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Prior experience in a rental car or loaner vehicle environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Strong attention to detail to maintain the dealership’s professional appearance.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.
Schedule
- Full Time
- Monday through Saturday availability
- Sundays off
