To Qualify as a STNA:
- Current STNA License in Ohio
- Prior experience working with the elderly population
- Prior experience in Long-Term Care/Healthcare is preferred
- Empathy and care for those that need help
- Effective communication skills
Some of Your Responsibilities as a STNA Include:
- Assists residents with their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) including Bathing, Dressing, Eating, Toileting and other ADL tasks as needed
- Takes and records vital signs.
- Cares for the resident’s environment and assists with cleaning as needed
- Meets resident’s mental health and social service needs and advocates for resident as needed
