Financial Analyst - Operations
Summary:
As an Operations Finance Analyst, you’ll play a key role in partnering with the Sistersville, WV Operations teams and the Performance Additives business. In this role, you’ll evaluate manufacturing and material costs, analyze financial performance, and provide insights that directly impact the success of our plants and business. You’ll also have the opportunity to identify and drive process improvements, helping increase efficiency and strengthen financial results. Along the way, you’ll build strong interpersonal skills by collaborating across teams, communicating financial insights, and influencing decisions that make a real impact.

Please note that this role requires onsite presence five days per week, Monday through Friday

Responsibilities Include:
  • Partner with Operations and Finance Leadership to analyze financial results, driving productivity, profitability, and business growth.
  • Prepare reports and forecasts that support financial reviews, annual operating plans, and short-term business planning.
  • Collaborate with Area Managers and Engineers to identify material variances and trends, recommending improvements to standards and processes.
  • Work with Site Leadership to spot cost variances, empower action, and deliver results in fast-changing markets.
  • Track and evaluate Site Capital Expenditures, including financial analysis of projects before implementation.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Procurement to streamline operations and optimize the cash conversion cycle.
  • Manage month-end closing activities to ensure accurate and complete financial reporting.
  • Calculate product costing and establish resource activity rates.
  • Take on ad hoc financial analyses that provide valuable business insights.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with US GAAP, company accounting policies, and internal financial standards.
  • Travel occasionally (0–10%), based on business needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
The following are required for the role
  • Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or related field OR an Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with a minimum of 2 years of work experience in Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain
The following are preferred for the role:
  • 1-3 years experience in Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain
  • ERP Standard and Material Costing environment preferred (SAP a plus)

What We Offer:
Base Pay Range: $48,400 - $70,950
The actual salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography. Local geographic pay differentials may not be reflected in the above pay range and will be discussed with you by a member of the HR team when applicable. Additionally, this role is eligible for incentive or sales variable compensation payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company's incentive plans, the Company's financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.
