Extrusion Operator- 3rd Shift
Summary
To safely and efficiently perform custom compound extrusion utilizing multiple mechanical equipment to pre-form high consistency silicone rubber to desired customer specifications.
Responsibilities Include
- Ensure that all safety equipment is readily available and that all guards are in place.
- Read batch cards for directions, such as proper amounts, temperature controls, weights and sequences of extrusion, and any other additional instructions.
- Safely operate multiple types of extruders and related equipment.
- Update and maintain production records on batches extruded.
- Maintain work area in clean and orderly manner, especially during shift transition.
- Learn and understand basic customer requirements and the equipment and materials used in extrusion, packaging, and finishing.
- Receive and relay vital communications with co-workers concerning daily production strategies.
- As directed, carry out any other tasks of equal or less difficulty.
- Ability to work 3rd shift schedule.
- Starting pay is $20.59 $2.00 shift premium pay with increases at 90 days, 180 days, and 1 year.
The following are required for the role
- Must have HS Diploma or GED
- Must be able to read/write/speak English
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test that includes marijuana
- Prior computer and scanner experience
