Job Title: Summer 2026 Graduate (PhD) R&D Intern - Beauty and Personal Care Summary: As a part of a product development team, you will focus on preparing and testing new ingredients for the beauty and personal care market. You will have an opportunity to interact with other business functions including marketing and analytical teams. Responsibilities Include: Prepare bio-based ingredients at lab scale. Characterize the prepared material and evaluate its performance for personal care applications. Summarize lab data and draw conclusions by data analysis. Follow lab safety protocols and maintain lab notebook. Qualifications: The following are required for the role PhD student in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Science, or Material Science, and related discipline Working knowledge of synthetic chemistry with the ability to carry out lab experiments. Working knowledge of standard personal computer applications (word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, etc.) Program Qualifications: The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship. The candidate is expected to be available 40 hours a week for a period of 10-12 weeks between the months of May and August. What We Offer: Base Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00 The base salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography.
