What are the responsibilities and job description for the Med Aide position at Momenta Recovery?
We are looking for a passionate Med Aide to join our team here at Vine Ridge Cloverdale. The primary purpose of our Med Aides is to provide supervision of the medication room, assist residents with self-administration of their medications, provide documentation of care that is related to medication management and assist with activities of daily living for the residents. It is also the staff's responsibility to emulate the philosophy of a home-like environment in all the responsibilities of the job. As a part of our staff, we have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of seniors and their families.
Essential duties:
- To assist residents with medication management
- To ensure that resident needs are met through assisting the residents with the activities of daily living such as bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, eating, and walking, etc.
- To monitor the overall condition and changes of the residents
- To coordinate resident care by working with all departments, the medical community, families, and administrative staff to provide for client needs with continuity and an adherence to the scope of practice for the facility.
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- To be available to work assigned shifts, cooperate to work any extra shifts, and be willing to perform any task as assigned.
- Readiness to work as part of a team
- Subject to Background Check.
Positions available include 2 day shifts and 1 part-time NOC (overnight).
