Role Description
We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our clinical team and provide high-quality psychiatric care to our patient population.
This role will be responsible for:
• Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
• Providing ongoing medication management (PHP: weekly | IOP: every 2–3 weeks)
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Monitoring medication effectiveness, side effects, and interactions
• Providing crisis assessment and intervention as needed
You will also play a key role in overseeing innovative treatment modalities:
• Spravato® (esketamine): patient eligibility, REMS compliance, and safety monitoring
• TMS: patient clearance, protocol development, and progress tracking
Additional responsibilities include maintaining compliant documentation, adhering to regulatory standards, participating in quality initiatives, and collaborating closely with therapists, case managers, and medical staff.
Qualifications
Required:
• Active, unrestricted California RN and PMHNP license
• Board Certified PMHNP (PMHNP-BC)
• Furnishing number and active DEA registration
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
Preferred:
• 2 years of psychiatric prescribing experience
• Experience in PHP, IOP, or outpatient settings
• Experience or training with Spravato and/or TMS
