What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floral Designer / Florist position at Moment in Time?
We are a florist and event design company dedicated to helping our clients with all moments of their lives. We have a brick and mortar location in downtown Frankfort, and looking for creative & enthusiastic individuals to join our team!
This is a part-time role as a Floral Designer & Sales Associate located in Downtown Frankfort, IL. The Floral Designer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as creating flower arrangements, curating recipes, and helping with delivery workflow. The Floral Designer will be working in the retail store, so customer service is #1 priority. You'll be responsible for creating a welcoming (and fun!) environment for clients and walk in customers. In addition, you'll be part of the team and contribute to marketing efforts and general store management.
** You must be able to work weekends
***FLORAL DESIGN EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
Qualifications:
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting the overall success of Moment in Time
- Floral experience and/or creative or design experience preferred
- Knowledge of flowers and plants, and passion for events and celebrations
- Strong attention to detail & maintain standards without active direction
- Able to work efficiently & adapt to peaks in demand and production
- Background in horticulture or retail a plus!
