What are the responsibilities and job description for the Broadloom Carpet Cutter / Technician position at Momeni Rugs?
We are looking for an experienced Broadloom cutter to manage daily cutting and shipping of wall to wall carpets. You will be the one to ensure complete orders are cut in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Use software to track, check, cut broadloom orders
- Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment
- Inspect labels, barcodes and other features of completed orders
- Collaborate with customer service, warehouse team, and other managers to optimize processes
- Ensure compliance to legal regulations and company policies
- Report to management on activities and issues
Skills
- 1-2 years proven experience as broadloom cutter and operator
- Experience in wall to wall carpeting
- Solid knowledge of logistics procedures
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving abilities
