Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising warehouse personnel and material handlers, managing inventory, coordinating shipping activities, and ensuring the efficient organization of the warehouse. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervision:

- Supervise and provide direction to warehouse personnel and material handlers.

- Ensure team adherence to safety protocols and company policies.

- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate objectives, performance expectations, and updates.

2. Inventory Management:

- Inspect incoming material for compliance with our food-grade requirements, then receive into the system

- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular audits.

- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement to replenish supplies as needed.

3. Shipping Coordination:

- Gather and verify all necessary information for shipping orders.

- Ensure accuracy of shipping documents and labels.

4. Warehouse Organization:

- Manage the organization and layout of the entire warehouse.

- Implement efficient storage solutions and ensure proper labeling of inventory.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

5. Order Fulfillment:

- Oversee the picking, packing, and wrapping of pallets for shipment.

- Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner.

- Resolve any issues related to order discrepancies or damaged goods.

6. Reporting and Documentation:

- Prepare and maintain various reports, including inventory levels, shipment status, and productivity metrics.

- Document any incidents, damages, or discrepancies and report them to management.

Skills Required:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.

- Communication - Effective written and verbal communication skills. Bi-lingual a major benefit (Spanish/English)

- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role or similar position.

- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping processes.

- Ability to learn a new ERP system with complete comprehension relatively quickly.

- Forklift driving certification and proven experience operating a forklift.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Working Conditions:

- This position involves working in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.

- The role may require standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
