The Maintenance Technician performs production maintenance throughout the Fulfillment facility including but not be limited to equipment breakdowns, installation and startups, process improvements, preventative/precision maintenance programs and continuous improvements activities. Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited toMust observe and practice all facility processes and procedures including wearing the required PPEAdhere to facility safety guidelines, sanitation standards, and follow all GMP guidelinesImprove the safety, reliability, and efficiency through work execution and timely response to emergency and urgent production needsUtilize CMMS to support the maintenance function including review, execution, and documentation of scheduled/unscheduled work on a daily basisDiagnose and repair of all machinery and process malfunctions, all mechanical power transmission equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems process pumps, automatic control valves, sensors, positioners, actuators, basic electrical AC/DC troubleshooting, and related systemRead and decipher mechanical drawings, schematics, and piping diagramsAssist in developing troubleshooting programs and job aidsAbility to build and maintain positive working relationships with all team peers and customersMaintain accurate records and dataRequired Skills and ExperienceAssociate degree in Engineering, Operations, or Applicable technical knowledge or Degree/Certification from Trade School (or equivalent experience)Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in industrial operations, plant operations, maintenance, utilities and/or related field480v 3 phase knowledge requiredProficient in knowledge of bearings, pulleys, chain drives, belt drives, and lubricants standards and applicationsPrevious experience installing and repairing mechanical equipment as well as pipe fitting, and solderingPrior experience using precision tools i.e. dials indicators, micrometers, calipers, and depth gaugesKnowledge of cylinders, valves, manifolds, vacuum systems, air filtration and lubrication devices, gear boxes, mechanical drives, variable speed applications, and Servo motorsAbility to provide mechanical troubleshooting, communicate effectively, and work with minimal supervisionAbility to be flexible to shift priorities in a constantly changing, fast-paced work environmentPreferred Skills and ExperienceAbility to read/interpret Electrical SchematicsPrevious experience in machine shop to fabricate within specific toleranceKnowledge and practice of NFPA 70EExperience and knowledge of personal/process control computers, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and Networking devicesAllen Bradley experiencePhysical RequirementsRegularly required to use hands to feel, grab, or operate objects, tools, and controls while reaching with hands and armsFrequently required to stand, communicate, and listenOccasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouchOccasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsVisual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusAble to perform repetitive movementsAble to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)Company OverviewMom’s Meals is a home-delivered meal service providing fully prepared, refrigerated meal solutions direct to homes nationwide for over 25 years.
