Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and manage reservations using OpenTable or similar systems to ensure smooth seating arrangements.
- Take accurate orders and process transactions efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems while upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and presentation.
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive guest relations.
- Support kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks when needed and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to manage night shifts or busy periods effectively while demonstrating excellent time management skills.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Experience in fine dining settings or nightclubs enhances your ability to deliver upscale guest experiences.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional appearance.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques is highly desirable.
