Accounts Payable Clerk- Water

About the Role

Located in either our Salida or Windsor office and reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Accounts Payable Accountant performs various data entry and scanning tasks related to vendor invoices and subtrade invoices. This individual is responsible for executing tasks in support of Operations, Operations Accounting, and Accounts Payable according to established company procedures, and is a representative of the Accounts Payable function.

As an AP Accountant at Moltz Construction Inc., you will:

• Perform data entry and clerical tasks to support general transactional accounting processes and month end procedures.
• Submit invoices and enter data accurately.
• Perform administrative accounting support tasks as required.
• Demonstrate general awareness of company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Utilize documented accounting processes to execute day-to-day work.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with team members and internal customers.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with specialized training; education in Business is preferred.
• 2 years of relevant experience; experience in construction industry is an asset.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong ability to meet deadlines.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Data entry skills.
• Basic MS Excel skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $58k-60k per annum based on experience
