About Us
We’re a professional event production company based in Sioux Falls with over 20 years of experience providing audio and visual services for concerts, corporate events, annual meetings, banquets, and special events. We’re known locally for high-quality concert sound and reliable show-day execution.
We’ve also delivered high-level corporate events and large annual meetings — and we’re ready to make that side of the business a consistent, profitable revenue stream.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a part-time Business Development Marketing Coordinator who can help us grow corporate and high-value event work by building relationships, consistently following up, and keeping our presence visible.
This is not a “cold call everyone” role. Most event production work is won through trust, responsiveness, and familiarity — we want someone who understands that and enjoys building long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
1) Business Development & Outreach (Primary)
- Build relationships with event planners, venues, hotels, corporate organizers, nonprofits, and marketing agencies in the Sioux Falls region
- Proactively reach out to warm targets and introduce our services
- Reconnect with past clients and cultivate repeat business
- Identify upcoming annual meetings, banquets, conferences, and high-value events where we can be the production partner
- Build and maintain a list of key contacts and referral partners
2) Lead & Quote Follow-Up (Primary)
- Track leads and opportunities in HubSpot (simple CRM)
- Ensure quick response times to inquiries
- Keep consistent follow-up cadence after quotes are sent (so opportunities don’t go quiet)
- Help schedule calls, site visits, and planning meetings
- Coordinate with the owner to gather info needed for quoting
3) Social & Marketing Support (Secondary but Valuable)
- Post consistently (1–3 times/week) using photos/videos from events
- Collect testimonials and reviews
- Help create simple “proof” content: behind-the-scenes, setups, client wins, before/after transformations
- Keep our work visible and professional without needing heavy editing or complex campaigns
- Help identify which events should be photographed and what content to capture
What Success Looks Like
Within 30–60 days
- Every lead is logged and tracked in HubSpot
- Follow-up is consistent and timely
- Regular outreach to planners/venues is happening weekly
- Social posting is consistent and professional
Within 90 days
- More corporate inquiries and referrals
- Increased booked corporate/annual meeting/banquet work
- Stronger repeat relationships (planners and venues think of us first)
Who You Are

- Are proactive and comfortable reaching out to people
- Enjoy building trust-based relationships
- Are organized and consistent with follow-up
- Can write clear emails and communicate professionally
- Can operate independently with minimal oversight
- Can handle CRM tracking and simple task follow-through
Bonus Points (not required)
- Experience in event planning, hospitality, hotels, venue operations, corporate admin, or client services
- Familiarity with live events / AV (you don’t need to be an engineer)
- Comfortable capturing simple content (phone photo/video) and posting to social platforms
Compensation (Flexible)
We’re open based on experience and fit.
- Hourly base: $20–$30/hr (depending on experience)
- Performance bonus or small commission on booked corporate/recurring work
- (We can structure this around booked revenue, margin, or a monthly bonus.)
We’re happy to start with a 30-day paid trial to ensure fit.
Schedule / Structure
- Part-time: 10–20 hrs/week to start
- Flexible schedule (consistent weekly blocks preferred)
