Must be 21 years old for this position. As a cashier/deli associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, preparing deli items, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring high standards of food safety. You will work closely with a team to provide outstanding service in a fast-paced mini mart.
Responsibilities:
- Slice meats and cheeses to order and ensure quality control
- Prepare sandwiches, use grill and other deli items
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and assisting with orders
- Maintain a clean, organized work area, including the deli counter, equipment, and general cleanliness of the store.
- Stock shelves, coolers, rotate products, and ensure freshness
- Operate deli equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with opening/closing duties
