What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front of House Staff position at Molly's Cupcakes?
Molly's Cupcakes Des Moines is hiring energetic, personable and motivated Front of House sales staff to join our team at both our cupcake and ice cream shop - Molly's Frozen.
Candidates MUST be available to work weekday shifts (generally 5 or 6 hours) and at least one shift during the weekend (Friday night - Sunday). Shifts vary between 9:00AM - 10:30PM.
As a Front of House staff member, you would be responsible for the following duties:
- Helping customers with enthusiasm and TOP NOTCH customer service
- Memorizing in-rotation cupcake flavors, ice cream flavors, cakes, cookies, etc.
- Taking and filling orders (in person and over the phone)
- Boxing & frosting cupcakes with care
- Scooping ice cream with care
- Making coffee & espresso-based drinks
- General cleaning and organization around the shop
- Working with a cash register (POS) and dealing with cash/credit card transactions
Candidates MUST also be organized, have great attention to detail, be able to work well with others and take direction well under busy circumstances. A minimum of at least 1-YEAR's experience with customer service in food service or a related industry is required.
Looking to hire immediately for a position beginning immediately.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $10.15 per hour
