Responsibilities:
- Screen prescription orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare prescriptions - retrieve, count, pour, weigh, measure, and sometimes mix the medication.
- Perform calculations.
- Perform medication reconciliation.
- Assist in the management of investigational drug studies and Filling, data entry, handling cash registers, DME equipment knowledge, Trained in HIPPA, reliable candidate with punctuality.
- Should have a minimum of 3 years of experience.
Pharmacy Cashiers handle customer transactions and operate the cash register in a pharmacy.
Other job duties that Pharmacy Cashiers are responsible for include:
- Greeting customers.
- Handling their complaints.
- Keeping the store well-stocked and clean.
- Counting the money in the cash drawer.
- And processing items.
