TYPE OF POSITION/EMPLOYMENT CATEGORY: Full-Time, Staff
DEPARTMENT: Nursing Lab/Clinical Learning Center
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:30am to 6:00pm. Hours may occasionally vary depending on the department needs.
- Occasional weekends for university events may be required.
REMOTE WORK: No
HOURS/WEEK and MONTHS/YEAR: 35 hours/week and 52 weeks/year
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt, Hourly
GENERAL PURPOSE
Performs a variety of administrative duties that facilitate the day-to-day operations of a function, program, and/or department. Assists in program planning and development; interprets, monitors, and analyzes information regarding operating policies and procedures. May administer budgets and coordinate academic and/or staff personnel matters. Resolves problems that have a significant impact on the overall goals of the department. Works directly with external constituents (i.e., executives, undergraduate/graduate faculty, vendors) and internal staff to resolve routine and non-routine issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serves as the first point of contact for both internal and external constituents. Resolves issues (.i.e., places work orders, orders staff uniforms etc.) and/or directs individuals to the current person or resource within the organization with minimal supervision. Maintains daily contact with CLC Directors to relay interactions with above named parties.
- Plans and prepare reports and maintain files and databases. Prepares correspondence, schedules and manages daily and posts Acuity weekly, shares documents and uploads on CLC “Drive and is also responsible for placing and receiving all CLC orders for equipment and supplies.
- Assists with managing schedules for the CLC, including prioritizing requests and making suggestions to more efficiently run the department. Initiates and maintains a record regarding equipment, contracts, warranties, and inventory supplies. It involves budget correspondence and sending all paperwork to appropriate parties.
- Writes and edits internal communications. May assist directors in the development of public materials (e.g., brochures, websites, advertisements).
- Exhibits flexibility to assume other duties that aid in managing the workstream within the CLC environment as the need arises. Is responsible for attending scheduled staff meetings, taking minutes at all staff meetings and attend the daily huddle.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Some college (Communications or Business preferred)
- 5 to 8 years of work related experience
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

SALARY INFORMATION
When determining the salary offer for a new employee, Molloy considers several key characteristics such as job knowledge, skills, and experience as well as internal and external equity. The hiring hourly rate for this position is $22.00 to $25.00. This hourly rate represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting.
