We are looking for an Executive Housekeeper who is passionate about driving success for our Housekeeping department. This person will be responsible for upholding the values of MOLLIE Aspen and promoting positive communication. Additionally, will maintain the cleanliness and efficiency standards for all rooms and common areas, delegate tasks to Housekeeping staff, and conduct regular inspections to ensure these standards are met. The Executive Housekeeper will also serve as the department representative on the safety committee and ensure that safety standards are implemented throughout the department.

Job Responsibilities:
- Approach each shift with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a ready to contribute to the team’s overall goal.
- Have a focus on always continuing your education in all facets of our business.
- Work with the Housekeeping Supervisor to continuously improve standard operating procedures.
- Maintain warmth and hospitality in all correspondence with guests.
- Communicate all necessary guest information with the team to set everyone up for success (VIPs, special requests, celebrations, etc.).
- Update knowledge and skills by participating in staff training opportunities.
- Check in with all housekeeping staff regularly by conducting one-on-ones on a bi-weekly basis.
- Ensure the department is represented at monthly safety committee meetings.
- Assign duties and manage housekeeping staff.
- Maintain inventories of all housekeeping items.
- Inspect all public areas and rooms according to hotel standards. Hold staff accountable for following policies and procedures to ensure satisfactory performance.
- Facilitate a professional working environment by motivating and leading staff members by example.
- Set and maintain schedules for the general cleaning program – both daily, common areas, and for seasonal cleanings.
- Create, maintain, and implement training for all housekeeping staff.
- Communicate expectations, recognize performance, and produce desired business results.
- Ensure the accuracy of employee payroll.
- Ensure the laundry operation is maximizing productivity, maintaining quality standards, and is keeping within prescribed costs.
- Set and maintain cleanliness standards for rooms and common areas.
- Set efficiency standards for room cleaning, checkout, stayover, and deep cleanings.
- Develop, implement, and monitor schedules for the housekeeping operation and manage the staffing process to ensure appropriate levels of resourcing to maintain efficient operations.
- Manage and enforce the disciplinary processes set forth for employee accountability.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front-of-house staff and management, to create a seamless and exceptional experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent guest service and problem-resolution skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Spanish language preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Previous Housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred.
- Prefer at least 5 years of work experience.
- High school diploma preferred.
- The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
