What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2027 Summer Accounting Intern position at Molinari Oswald?
Molinari Oswald LLC is offering a paid six week student internship during summer of 2027. The internship program will provide the student with relevant skills in a variety of accounting functions via on-the-job training.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing a variety of income tax returns including individual, partnership, corporate, and exempt organization
- Assisting with compilation, review and audit work paper preparation
- Assisting with general accounting and bookkeeping
- Reconciling general ledger accounts
- Learning software applications such as Quickbooks, Ultra Tax, Creative Solutions Professional Suite, and other.
- Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned
Requirements:
- Must be actively enrolled at an accredited University with a major in Accounting, anticipated graduation in 2028 as a CPA candidate, with a current GPA of 3.0 or above
- Strong technical and organizational skills in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment
- A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word)
Time Commitment:
- Hours of operation are 8:30am-5:00pm Monday thru Friday
- Must be available to work up to 24 hours a week for 6 weeks beginning May-June or July-August
